Your Agreement with the Privacy Policy
Thank you for using this service, which is owned and operated by Fireside Technologies Inc. (“Fireside,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) and includes any Content that includes all of the software and code comprising or used to operate the Services, and all of the text, photographs, images, illustrations, graphics, sound recordings, video and audio-video clips, and other materials available on the Services, including User-Generated Content and Feedback (collectively “Content”), functionality and services offered by Fireside on or through fireside.social or its mobile applications (the “Services”), offered now or available in the future. The terms “User-Generated Content” or “UGC” refer to your publicly available profile information and all content that you post using the social networking tools we make available to you. UGC does not include “Feedback.” UGC also includes any content that is saved as a draft and not yet posted. The term “Feedback” refers to the Content you post on or through the Services that is specifically about how we can improve the Services and the products and services we make available through the Services.. This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes the information we collect from or about you through the Services, including when you visit our website at fireside.social. It also describes how we use, maintain and disclose that information, as well as some of the steps we take to protect your privacy.

Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is to not use our Services. By accessing and using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Scope of This Policy
Fireside collects certain information about or related to you through these Services. Some of the information Fireside collects may be “personal information”—information that identifies you personally, alone or in aggregation with other information available to us. Other information may be not personally identifiable, such as your IP address.

Fireside has provided this Policy so that you will know what information Fireside collects, how Fireside uses this information, the types of third parties with whom Fireside may share this information, and some of the choices that are available to you when it comes to your data.
Modifications to Policy
Fireside reserves the right to update or modify this Policy and any Privacy Notices, from time to time and without prior notice, by posting the revised version of the Policy or Privacy Notices on these Services. These changes will only apply to the information we collect after we have posted the revised Policy or Privacy Notices on these Services.

By using the Services, you are consenting to the collection, use, disclosure, and transfer of your information as described in this Policy (and any Privacy Notices that apply to you). If you do not consent to the collection, use, disclosure and transfer of your information as described in this Policy (and any Privacy Notices that apply to you), you should not use the Services. Your continued use of the Services following any such change constitutes your agreement that all information collected from or about you after the revised Policy is posted will be subject to the terms of the revised Policy. If we make any material changes to our privacy policy, we will notify you through the email address we have on file for your account. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page.

This Policy may be supplemented or amended from time to time by additional privacy notices (“Privacy Notices”), provided at the time we collect your information. For example, certain pages of the Services may contain Privacy Notices providing more details about the information we collect on those particular pages, why we need that information, and choices you may have about the ways we use that information. In other cases, specific Privacy Notices may be required to comply with the privacy laws of one of the countries, provinces, or states in which we do business.
Our Terms of Service

This Policy is part of the Terms of Service that govern your use of the Services. You can find our current Terms of Service linked here.

Information We Collect
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Services, including information:

Information You May Voluntarily Provide. Fireside collects the information you manually provide when you use the Services. Some of the information you manually provide may be personal information, such as your name and contact information.

This information may include the names and email addresses of others that are added to a Circle by you or someone else, as well as information you provide when you contact us with questions, express interest in advertising on the Services, register with the Services and create a profile, or otherwise interact with the Services. Information in the form of visual content may also include its applicable metadata, such as location, device type and creation date.

Information From Third-Party Social Media Platforms. You may be able to register with, log on to, or enhance your profile on the Services by choosing to automatically populate the requested data fields with information you previously provided to a third-party social media platform (such as Facebook or Twitter). By doing this, you are asking the third-party platform to send us information, including personal information, from your profile on that platform.

We treat that information as we do any other information you give to us when you register, log on, or enhance your profile. This information may include your profile name and profile photo, as well as the email address associated with your social media account.

Information from your browser or device. Fireside collects information that is sent to us automatically by your web browser or mobile device. The information we receive may depend on your browser or device settings. This information may be aggregated with other data that may or may not identify you to help us identify you. We collect technical data such as internet protocol (lP) address, MAC address, or other device addresses or identifiers, as well as browser type, internet service provider, URLs of referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and your mobile carrier.

We may also review our server logs for security purposes—for example, to detect intrusions into our network—and we might share our server logs, which contain visitors’ IP addresses, with the appropriate investigative authorities who could use that information to trace and identify you.

Your Location. Using GPS technology, and with your opt-in consent, we may also collect precise, real-time location information from your mobile device, if your device and/or web browser settings are enabled to send it to us. This information may include, but is not limited to, the type of device and network information and settings.

We may also share information about your location with your friends and other contacts, to the extent you interact with them using the social networking tools available on the Services. Your mobile device may allow you to adjust your settings so that location information is not available to any mobile web service or application. If you have questions about the security and privacy settings of your mobile or tablet device, please refer to instructions from your mobile service provider or the manufacturer of your device.

Information Collected by Cookies and Other Technologies. We use “cookies” and other technologies to collect information and support certain features of the Services.

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies enable websites and online services to recognize your browser and record certain information about your visits to the website. The cookies we use may change from time to time as we improve and update our Services. The information we collect using cookies and similar technologies is not, in and of itself, personally identifiable, but we may link it to personal information that you provide. The cookies we use may change from time to time as we improve and update our Services.

If you do not wish to receive cookies, you may set your browser to reject cookies or to alert you when a cookie is placed on your computer. Although you are not required to accept cookies when you visit the Services, you may be unable to use all of the functionality of the Services if your browser rejects our cookies. For example, we may use these technologies to:

· collect information about the ways visitors use the Services—which pages they visit, which links they use, and how long they stay on each page;
· support the features and functionality of the Services—for example, to save you the trouble of reentering information already in our database or to prompt the settings you established on previous visits;
· personalize your experience when you use the Services; and improve our marketing efforts, including through use of targeted advertising.

We also may collect information using web beacons or pixels. These are tiny graphics files to contain a unique identifier that enables us to recognize when someone has visited our Services. These allow use, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users, to deliver or communicate with cookies, and to improve our Services.

Information About Third-Party Cookies. In addition to the cookies Fireside delivers to your computer or mobile device through the Services, certain third parties may deliver cookies to you for a variety of reasons.

Other third parties may also deliver cookies to your computer or mobile device for the purpose of tracking your online behaviors across non-affiliated web services and delivering targeted advertisements either on the Services or on other web services.

We may use Google Analytics, including the following Google Analytics Advertising Features: Adsense, Adwords, Doubleclick, Remarketing. To learn more about Google Analytics, click here.

With Third–Party Vendors. Fireside shares information collected through the Services with trusted third-party vendors, service providers, contractors or agents who act for us or on our behalf, including but not limited to processing payments and information requests, providing security services or displaying stored data you access. In connection with the processing of such information, all information provided directly to any third party vendor and use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. For example, we may use third-party vendors to design and operate the Services; to conduct surveys; and to help us with our promotional efforts. These third-party vendors may need information about you to perform their functions. Additionally, we will share your information with third-party vendors when you request us to do so.

With Other Users of the Services. User-Generated Content you post on the Services may be read, collected, and used by others. Any information that you provide within a Circle will not be shared by us with Users that are not invited to that Circle. Any previous responses may be viewed by other Users in a Circle. Once a circle is listed as inactive, new users added to the circle can see all responses, regardless of their responses.

With Third-Party Social Media Platforms. We may provide functionality on the Services that allows you to automatically post information about the actions you take on the Services to a third-party social media platform (such as Facebook or Twitter). If you choose to take advantage of this functionality, people with access to your profile on the third-party platform may be able to see the actions you have taken—for example, the items you have purchased. Further, if you choose to link your profile on the Services with an account on a third-party social media platform, we may collect and share the information in your profile with that third-party platform. We may share or provide some of your information, such as an email address, to third-party social media platforms so that we can identify you in order to engage with you on those platforms.

You can access or register for the Services using your account credentials for third party services (each, an "lntegrated Service") such as Twitter or Facebook, or otherwise connect such lntegrated Services to your account. By connecting with an lntegrated Service, you authorize us to access and store your name, email address, date of birth, gender, current city, profile picture URL, comments, and other information that the Integrated Service makes available to us, and to use and disclose it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You should review your privacy settings on each lntegrated Service to understand the information sent to us through each lntegrated Service. Please review each lntegrated Service's terms of use and privacy policies carefully before using their services and connecting to our Services.

With Select Business Partners. From time to time, we may share your information with selected third parties for their own marketing purposes. For example, we may partner with third parties to sponsor contests or other promotions, and we may share with these third parties the information you submit to us to participate in the contest or take advantage of the promotion. Before doing so, however, we may offer you the opportunity to “opt out” or “opt in,” as required by applicable law.

In Aggregate or De-identified Form. We use de-identified information collected through the Services to create a compiled, aggregate view of usage patterns.

As Part of a Company Restructuring. Your information may be transferred to a successor organization if, for example, we transfer the ownership or operation of the Services to another organization as a result of a negotiation, evaluation or closing of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Fireside’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Fireside about our users is among the assets transferred. If such a transfer occurs, the successor organization’s use of your information will still be subject to this Policy and the privacy preferences you have expressed to us.

To Comply with Laws and Protect Our Rights and the Rights of Others. We may disclose your information when we, in good faith, believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law, a court order or a subpoena. We may also disclose your information to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; to protect the security of the Services; to enforce or apply our online Terms of Service or other agreements; or to protect our own rights or property or the rights, property or safety of our users or others.
